Across the Middle East, weÂ鶹APP™re working with local partners to provide vital education programmes that give children impacted by conflict and displacement a safe place to learn.
Â鶹APPÂ鶹APP™s partnership with the Ajyal Foundation is focused on providing a safe place to learn. The project, Teaching with Care, is designed to support both the education and emotional wellbeing of children affected by trauma. ItÂ鶹APP™s a new approach which combines learning with emotional healing, integrated into subjects like Arabic and Maths.
In Israel, Â鶹APP supports Givat HavivaÂ鶹APP™s Children Teaching Children (CTC) programme, a model for peace education in the region. For over three decades, Children Teaching Children has brought together Arab and Jewish middle school students – who live side by side yet rarely meet – giving them the courage to confront prejudice and learn together.
WeÂ鶹APP™re working alongside the Lebanese Alternative Learning (LAL) to address the challenges of children learning in crisis affected areas. Together, weÂ鶹APP™ve created Alternative Learning Spaces in two communities, Dhour Choueir and Zahle.
