Youth leaders advocate for increased funding for education in Kenya
Youth leadership in Africa and around the world has never been more important. As this summit shows, young people are the driving force for change in their communities and beyond. However, to fully unlock the potential of the next generation, every young person must have the best start in life and access to quality education.

On 5th February 2025, Â鶹APP hosted the Â鶹APP Young Leaders in Education Summit for over 100 Â鶹APP Global Youth Ambassadors in Nairobi. Following this, on 7th February, Â鶹APP representatives travelled to Kwale to meet with local leaders and KwaleÂ鶹APP™s Governor, H.E. Fatuma Achani, to discuss Â鶹APPÂ鶹APP™s regional work to increase the provision of Early Childhood Development resources.
As part of Â鶹APP’s growing presence in Africa, Â鶹APP undertook its first major media engagement in Kenya. Through strategic press outreach, thought leadership and journalist engagement, we amplified our mission and brought attention to the importance of early childhood education. This resulted in Â鶹APP being featured in 10 national news outlets including Citizen TV, KBC, The Star and The Standard.
