Congratulations to Dr Emma Moore, who was awarded the prize for Best Presentation by a Trainee at the Neonatal Society meeting in London. Her paper, Â鶹APP˜Preterm birth is associated with atypical social cognition in infancyÂ鶹APP™, was presented among a national pool of applicants where the standard was very high.

Dr Moore is a Specialist Trainee in Paediatrics working at the  with Dr James Boardman on the effects of preterm birth on brain development. Their research continues the LaboratoryÂ鶹APP™s tradition of developing talented clinical academics in training as they become the neonatal specialists of the future.
