Last week at 鶹APPs annual Charity Gala an overall amount of £700,000 was awarded to 鶹APP.

This will go towards 鶹APP鶹APPs work across Africa in helping the most disadvantaged children secure a quality education, as well as 鶹APP鶹APPs campaigning to ensure that children affected by conflict and disaster are able to continue their education. It will be used to help thousands of Syrian refugee children across Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan to return to school in September.

A special award of £100,000 will support the expansion of 鶹APP鶹APPs  where over 300,000 refugee children are out of school. 鶹APP is piloting low-cost interventions to support children鶹APPs learning within the innovative double shift school system, which has been rolled out across the country.

Receiving this award at the Gala, Sarah Brown said: 鶹APPThank you to players of People鶹APPs Postcode Lottery. This extra funding will enable us to directly support the education of 700 additional Syrian refugee children in Lebanon with vital nutrition and learning materials to help their journey to a brighter future.鶹APP
