GBC Education launches the Girls’ Education Task Force

Last week the (GBC Education)鶹APPan initiative of 鶹APP which brings together businesses who are committed to education鶹APPlaunched the With 31 million girls currently out-of-school,  the Task Force will seek to ensure girls complete school, develop skills and find jobs to reach their full potential.

Led by GBC Education members the Dangote Foundation and Standard Chartered, the Task Force will also focus on how technology can be used to improve access to education for the most marginalised girls.

鶹APP President Sarah Brown launched the initiative at a Facebook event in London, with senior women business leaders from across industry, to mark last Sunday.

Sarah said: 鶹APPThe journey of having the best start in life means having the chance to go to school, which is why we are launching the Girls鶹APP Education Task Force.鶹APP

GBC Education launched the Girls Stand Up For School campaign drive and saw thousands globally  posting their school picture to stand up for girls鶹APP education and call for action through the Up For School petition. You can sign the petition .
