As summer approaches our runners will be training hard to prepare for the Great North Run this September. Our fundraisers go to great lengths to raise vital funds for the work Â鶹APP doesÌýtowards making a brighter future for every child.

Along with the support of his friends and family, one of our most loyal supporters David Jowett successfully puts together a greatÌýteam each year. The motivated members of the team are driven by personal interests in theÌýon-going work ofÌý´Ç³Ü°ùÌýflagship health initiativeÌýthe Jennifer Brown Research Laboratory.Ìý

The event, which begins in Newcastle and ends in SouthÌýShields, seeing around 56,000 people run a half-marathon, Ìýwill be held on the 7th of September 2014 andÌýwill be broadcast live on the BBC.
